Shyness, frail women!

Hmmm....I know, I am one of them but don't know how much of what I have said here will justify whatever is being said here....I will do justice up to the extent possible...I request the men folk to add to it and tell me....If I was right! :)

Yesterday, night I sat watching television and some scenes from a teleserial caught my sight and was astonished by the scene and the subtlety of it....!

The scene is between a supposedly husband and wife of the serial who have got together alone in a new setting and almost totally head-over heels in love with each other....it so happens that they are now in the complete sense of the relationship called - married life! ;)

So, it was kind of funny looking at what all these actors are asked to do for the sake of acting and they have to put up with the weird acting till the sound of 'cut' by the director and not to forget the improvisations done to the whole acting...Oh! man what a place and action...!

But I was just looking at the screen going blank by my thoughts then suddenly I was astonished by the blushing and coyness of the heroine...and the various out of place dialogues given to her.

That was not all I could not resist the shyness exhibited by her. I was delighted by it and it sounded close to reality and wondered in real life situations...where all does a lady shun her shyness or is there such a thing or is it history with the modern lady who has armored the man's world with straightened backs and long strides...!

My mind immediately answered me, “It does not take away her naturalness at any place...a lady is a lady in all true sense...”

I sat thinking about the various crucial turns in her life where she is really shy to do something but does it by shunning it away and knows...it is all pleasure and nothing but pleasure...!

Read on...and tell me if that is fine and you agree with me! We will go chronologically according to her age; I know it will be interesting to read some parts....but got to read from one. :)

Childhood:

The ages from five to ten are the innocent period of one’s life irrespective of the gender. Here, we can see both genders equally shy and coy but this is very much unique to watch and it tells you that the growing up of the kid is on the block…!

In very few years, these kids will be grown up and you have to be cautious with them. The girl child becomes aware of her surroundings and starts to build a process of her own. She is seen quite in her activities, less resilient and less troublesome…and more responsible.

She seems to rap with her mother, understand her and support her….when she is praised for something she has done…she becomes happy and you can see the sort of shyness exhibited by her…by running away into her room and coming out of it after a long time or hides behind the pallu of her mother…or the curtains are her rescue…or the chairs and tables…or the sofa…or hide in-between the feet of her dad…it is so beautiful…to see it.

In this period of shyness, there is innocence and certain amount of sanity in it and it takes all your feelings towards the little thing and your really appreciate her.

Adolescence:

The ages of 10 to 20, happiness comes very rapidly and with it comes in a lot of understanding and knowledge gain. This age there are many things that open up the knowledge quotient and reduce the innocence quotient similarly to the event of opening a Pandora’s Box and with it a lot of interventions, restrictions, restlessness, and worries…!

This is a period of rebelliousness and the girl child endures a lot when compared to the other gender. She is kept on a constant watch and asked to do a lot of things which she voluntarily or involuntarily does it.

She is aware of herself, her soul, her body and her emotions and they all add more confusion to the already confused mind…!

She is always in company or she is seen talking to her friends most of the time and that is her world. You don’t see her around you, like you used to see, her always behind your pallu…or screens, you she her more outgoing and at more appropriate timelines… there is an amount of secrecy about her.

She is shyer and that we can see…she never comes in front of others and is worried about how she looks. She is more conscious of herself…takes time in her dressing herself or while bathing or taking utmost care off the things in vogue and wants to add that to her already increasing list of demands.

If questioned, she just looks at you and wonders… “Aw! Why don’t mothers understand and give you a nasty look…” all the innocence vanishing from her.

I love this age of hers…she comes to know more than what you knew at her age…kind of scary and all of a sudden all that shyness gone and more openness about her…!

Age of Happenings:

The ages from 20 to 40, is the age of know-all but quite calm and composed ages. This is the period that the inherent quality of a woman – thy shyness plays a vital role in the entire life cycle.

It helps her at various stages of her life and at various conditions of her life. The mind is fully grown and goes beyond comparing the reality to the dream world…! There is a constant search for the appropriate person, place and thing.

The restlessness continues but now it is subdued and there is a constant watch around her and her surrounding is always buzzing with bees and there is great pleasure in it. There is a change in her way of approach, the way she talks, she laughs, she carries herself, there is change in her completely and always in a crowd she wants be heard.

If cornered she is seen at her…her shyness comes in handy and she takes the help of it to the fullest extent.

She finds it difficulty in finding a perfect balance between the shyness and laughter. She knows what is to follow what, but have to be innocent enough to let the whole thing happen. The sly look she gives at you when nobody is watching her, the intense glance when you are doing something not ok and glance at her…the cheerful look at her face, the shyness in her eyes, the pride in her…when you walk with her, the first lunch or dinner, the brush of your hand, the raising heartbeat, the intense feeling of emotion following within her, the eagerness and the difficulty to stop things from flowing into one another….!

The coyness she spreads across her lips when you held her hand in front of so many people and well wishers, she knows that you are the one…and in her pride you can see a tinge of shyness!

The start of the new life with you beside her…the first touch, the first things that you all do together you have her coyness along to do away with till she takes care of you as her own…!

When she makes you promoted to your next stage in life, you can see the shyness in the smile she carries that takes away your breath and tells you what it means to her.

The circle is vivacious and it goes on….from then on!

Known & Seen it all:

The age from 40 onwards is a stage in life when you return to your own careless state and enjoy things that you used to do when you were young and innocent.

Here, you can see her shying away from things that she used to like do…till yesterday, such as holding hands with you, when she crosses a heavy trafficked road or looking at you intensely when you are reading a magazine or just brushing your hair when you are lost in those intense moments or watching, reading or thinking…!

All those moments when you caught her unaware the shyness that used to tingle you to continue with her uneasiness…is no more interesting her.

She is still shy and says, “Oh! Come on stop it not at this stage of life…” and brushes you off as if you were asking her to do a taboo…! She is again aware of her surroundings and does not want to be caught in an awkward position and is always keeping track of what she does and keeps a tab on you as well….!

This stage of hers is so nice that you feel like taking her in your arms and cuddling her up…she brings in all the innocent shyness that gets lost during the course of life and transformation that she takes on….!

Now, she is fragile as a flower and if handled well, she brings in more happiness than the yesteryears that have gone by………!

Are we ready to take the women of your life who goes so much of changes in one life? Was I correct in telling all this to you….come on do tell me!

Comments are always welcome as usual…I would love to hear about your thoughts!

Dawning Dreams.....!

It was early morning, Mohan tossed and turned on his bed, and he could hear the distant coo of a bird and the adjoining sound of a female coo…to it.

He thought, ‘Damn, it is only day-break and I am not able to sleep, what has happened to me…I don’t want to get up…the manager is not in today…I can be late to office…Oh! Please doze off….’

No, his mind did not heed neither his sleep…he woke up reluctantly and looked around all was bright and gay…he slipped on his house slippers and then slowly walked up to the sit-out…he looked around a beautiful day and the sun was just brushing off its own laziness….!

He took a deep breath and it had been ages he wondered at the nature with awe….he slowly pulled on his sweat shirt and found the basket ball he had left unattended at the cupboard corner…with it flew a cloud of dust…it chocked his lungs…he coughed a bit and quickly strode out onto the lawn….!

The house was spaced on a 3600 square feet and was artistically done, which donned a basketball sling attached to the top of the wall that spaced the sit-out from the 1st floor of the house.

Hmm…he has lost practice with the throw but still does not know what to do so…he starts nudging the ball…he just throws the ball so hard that it bounces out of his gate and down on to the street…

The sun is bright and up right now, there are crows and birds chirping around and some lazy dogs barking somewhere, the milkman, the paper boy all had finished their rounds…the locality is an abode in heaven with both the sides of the street adorned with big and huge trees spreading their branches and covering the stretch of the street with their leaves and flowers, giving away a celestial fragrance and the flowers that are no more to the twigs had fallen on the ground to adorn the street….!

There is a heavy carpet of flowers in different colors….and it was highlighted by the rays of the light that was passing through the branches from above and looked as if a scene drawn out of the sets of a romantic film…Mohan who came out to pick his ball was just looking at the scenic beauty and the ball was rolling into the street ahead of him…

He is lost in the beauty till a slow cold morning wind blows across his face and it sends a slight shiver through his arms, shoulder and backbone…he just shudders with the chillness…when he sees an angel down the aisle in a dark colored dress….with wavy hair that is uncontrollable to the blowing wind and the hands busy holding on to the bars of the cycle…!

She stops her vehicle and pulls her strands and pushes it behind her ears to hold them tight for sometime…and the rays from the sun fall on her as an spotlight from heaven….the leaves had given away to the pressure of the wind…..she puts a hand to cover her from the light just leaving a single ray peep through her finger making a halo around her….!

Oh! She looked ordinarily extra-ordinary….but she did not stand there forever she cycled past him and did not look back but she smiled at him when their eyes met for a milli-second and he knew….it was the smile that he had to look forward forever….but why him?

His mind reckoned why him….he does not believe anything of this sort and even in movies he said, ‘why it is always an extra -ordinary introduction for the heroine…?’

Nah…it can’t be him who is seeing this feat….it is just a dream…and dreams never come true…what am I doing standing and dreaming a perfect romantic picture scene of heroine introduction….oh! Enough of these ‘Yash Chopra heroines…’ where’s the ball…is, where is it…it just rolled in the front…where it did go….!

Ah! There it is, the stupid ball…how can a ball be stupid…you are stupid…you are the one who threw it….!

Ow! He hit against a stone and stumbled upon it….thud…! the sound was loud…and the pain started flowing into his senses and his back hurt…why is my back hurting….? I fell on my knees…my knees should be hurt…he could not keep his eyes, closed any more…he opened them and found the fan on the ceiling squeaking and running at full speed….!

He was coming into conscious with every turn of the fan blade….he pulled his eyes fully open with an instant and sat up with a bolt…he was on the floor of his room bundled in the blanket he had spread over him last night and he had fallen off his bed…!

He tried to get up and his back ached…but his mind was recollecting the events he saw…he looked at the watch it was past 9o’clock and it was trouble for him at the office if he does not reach it in another few minutes….!

He sets off to his daily chores returning to the mundane life he was in before….in the hurry-burry of his morning…he forgot about the angel he saw…and in whose life does a dream at day-break comes…true!

Has it for any one…?

A forgotten page from a diary!

Today, was the last exam of my tenth standard, the first level of crossing for an individual…this exam decides the physical state of a person…I have done it too today…this exam results will unfold my future and I will know what I am to become or pursue to live the life I breath in.

I have done my exams well and hope to fair well in my life too, but never know what is in store for you unless you stand on the verge of the upstream…!

So have to wait for the two month time, for the results to come in and then decide…meanwhile I have two months of a time…what should I be doing with it.

Obviously, will be going to my native town…where I will join a whole lot of cousins and friends near-by…loads of fun with games and television, movies and talking…will happen.

I have this strange heavy feeling in my heart, I am not able to overcome…what is it? Not sure…I seem to be liking this feeling for a certain episode is running in my mind again…and again and again…like those movies where the heroine sits on a table, or cot, or in the car, or in the bus…just recollects some scene again and again and there it follows a song sequence…

Can I hear music….nah…nah…but something of a melody flows by…!

I can’t forget the way he ran to my vehicle and gave me my rubber back to me…Oh! I had almost forgotten the little thing that I had…it was a spare one I had.

He had causally asked for it…before going to the exam as he had forgotten to bring his…!

I did not know why he took so much of a pain to return it to me…he could have kept it with him…as I had informed him that it was a spare one…he had also said while taking it from me…“I want to talk to you, once you finish the exam wait for me…”

I had asked him what was it, he said…“Wait for me…All the best” and walked off…I stood there gapping at his back as he walked away to his examination room…I recollected myself and walked over to mine…for few minutes, I kept pondering then the exam question papers arrived and the fear of unknown questions took over my brain cells.

When it was just another 30 minutes for the exam to end once again the memory flashed its agony and I wondered what it could be and I was gripped with some unknown bitter sweet sensation that did not let go…I walked out with the satisfaction of having done the best and to my astonishment I found my dad and mom waiting for me just outside the school entrance…I did not know they were coming and I found it really exciting to find them…my little sister was also with them…!

They had come to pick me up and we were off to something nicer after my exams. I was thrilled and forgot all about somebody asking me to wait…and the excitement.

I rushed to meet my other friends with whom I used to always hang out and then started leaving when I heard the final bell go off in the school premises…!

Then like a lighting bolt, it struck me, the words that drained in my ears…“wait for me…”

I turned around and looked for that familiar face, but could not find it in the swarm of school kids who were running out of the exams halls relieved that the dreading exams are over and there is no more of study for at least two months in a row….!

I heard the call of my impatient parents asking me to hurry, and rhyming with the strike of heart and my eyes that was asking to locate that face, that wanted to convey something to me….where is he?

Oh! Now, where did he disappear, I saw him coming out of the exam hall…walking briskly and talking gaily along with his friends…from the smile of his face I could make out it his exam went well….!

By then, I had reached the jeep that was waiting for me to hop in and leave any minute…my dad asked me to jump in…and I looked at him and nodded with my eyes drawn away from his sight and looking at the doorway of the hall and trying to catch those pair of eyes…that beheld my thoughts right now!

Hmm…he was so busy talking to his friends and did not notice me…I found my dad looking at me and at the direction where I was looking, I mumbled…‘I had given my eraser to him in the morning…I want it back…’

He smiled, ‘You can take it when your school re-opens or it is just a rubber, leave it you can buy more…’

I just nodded in agreement and reluctantly hopped into the jeep, my sister had already kept the hind door open…damn, my sister.

I got in and attempted to close the door, the engine started running and the jeep was in motion…I was peeping out to the open enclosure at the hind door and found him walking and running towards my jeep…I screamed…‘Wait, a second…and turned to find my parents, driver and sister looking at me…horrified, I said ‘My rubber…..’

I could hear giggles…and then turned around to find him at the door of the jeep and he said, ‘Here, your rubber, Rani…thanks it was of great help. Happy holidays and see you on the day of results…See ya’

I said, ‘See…ya, well you can keep the rubber will collect it on the day of results…why did you run to return it…? Anyways, now exams are over will not require it much {smile}’

{Smile and I saw a hand wave}

“Yeah, let’s go…we are late…” I heard my dad say.

All I could do is wave my hand and tried asking him by drawing circles and angles in the air and make him understand what was he trying to say to me in the morning and the jeep had moved him out of my sight just like a speck of a dirt on a white shirt….visible enough but can’t do much about it!

I still don’t know what he wanted to say and this thought is getting me restless and I want to days to roll by so that the day of exam results come…and I know my little secret.

What could it be….?

The Rozabal Line – Review!

I finished this novel last week itself but did not find time to write about it…and to add it all the finish of the novel was a bit too contradictory to the whole novel……..involving Karma and the legendary Hindu Goddess with her three inevitable forms of avatar… delving into one single force of Power and Eternity!

Now, ou might be wondering what is this all about….!! Will unfold!!!

This book seems to be questioning most of the beliefs we have or inculcated into the society from the day one. There is so much in the novel that you are so astonished at the facts and figures and the urge to delve further into the history and realism of them keeps you awake and keeps you reading it…..

I appreciate the way the book is presented to us…it has a different style of writing…it is written according to the dates and the dates of a calender is what keeps you moving about…you travel between eras and you find the hidden truths of things that are not visible at first…!

The novel starts off with the quest for the lineage of Christ…and it travels to India and the ‘Heaven on Earth – Kashmir’ is the place where we come to know that Christ breathed his last and then on we go through a roller coaster ride to know the origins of Mary Magdalene, King Ashoka, King Siddarath (Gautam Budda), the incarnation of Krishna, and many others….!

The book deals with varied facts and history and the various beliefs that man have carried down since the birth of Christ…it also deals with the terrorism that questions the humanness and the horrid fact about killing human mercilessly and the politics that is involved in the making of terrorism groups – you name it, it is described here…!

This book does not appear as a fable sometimes in-spite of it being one…!! It has the wonderful art of story telling binding each act and action into one of the best story that can be foretold with history as a fact…!

The use of the several biggest beliefs of human and shaking them to the core with your work is one side but the fabricated linkage between each episode and the occurrences makes you wonder if all this which is unfolding before your eyes…Can this be true…?!

You feel you could do a research on those facts and prove them as fable or truth and then go on seeing the world in different angles..!

Well, if listening is not enough…seeing is a kind of proof that we hold truth! But, what we have read makes us think that the possibility of Karma to a larger extend.

Maybe we are Indians and we believe in the ‘Karma Effect’ even with or without our own conscious convincing us….! This novel makes a great deal to the thinking mind…! :)

Believe if you want to take a dip into the varied facts and beliefs that are before us…take a plunge into the novel that can make you rock..!!

But somehow I did not like the way the novel ended…it could have been something different with all those journey between past and future…I was expecting another end to it…but after all it is a novel…What else can you expect that is more befitting!!!

Read it once………to know what I am saying! It is worth a read…!

Inglourious Basterds – An Aftermath!

Hmmm….! I never watch movies just like that and I don’t intend to watch every other movie…I rarely watch movies and when someone recommends it…I dare do it just for avoiding the repeated questioning ! :)

So far haven’t felt bad after watching a recommendation….and here is one such movie…!

This movie is another war movie on the same subject of Nazi, the rivalry between the Jews, French and Germans and the unholy World War II.

To start off and after reading about the movie synopsis from Wikipedia and the other Websites, I was just wondering it must be treated the same way any other movie of the same genres….!

Naah, I was in surprise…how many ever films or movies are made of this subject I feel there is some amount of heroism during that period that cannot be countable or described in any form of medium….

This movie coming from a Famous Director – Quentin Tarantino and movies such as, Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994) and Kill Bill (Vol I – 2003,Vol II – 2004) in his bucket will I not watch this masterpiece too….!

The story unfolds in a novel way….there are four chapters and each chapter has a story to say and the final chapter ends the movie linking all the characters of each chapter.

It is certainly about two plots that are behind the killing of Nazi’s or Germans..!!

The cast of the movie includes Brad Pit, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth, Diane Krüger and Mélanie Laurent and many others…but these are noted for their performances.

Christoph Waltz received the Best Actor award from the Cannes Film Festival his acting is so good that you can actually see him living through the character….He is nick named as ‘The Jew Hunter’ in the film and he seems to be one…you just wonder how does he sense it and there he has already done it…!

I personally do not like Brad Pit…but I was moved by his performance as well…! :)

Watch it…a through war movie that talks about the war heroes in their right sense…!

Mom & Me!

Inspired by a conversation between me and my mother…!

As a toddler

She is a pretty little thing

That walks and talks with her

The plaything that makes her wonder?!

As a grown-up

She is the smart girl in the locale

That keeps her always on toes

The flower bud, that makes her bewilder?!

As a teenager

She is the Queen Rival – outright

The praises and looks that she deserves

Are here’s now, without hereto?!

As a Woman

She is the perfect bride

For a man’s nest that can render

The counterfoil for an aging soul?!

As a mother

She is the toughest kind

For the roles now reversed

All she needs is your care?!

You and I are the shades of us

In a hidden bean, which

Gives away aroma, when roasted

In a perfect blend for life…!

It’s been a Year – Today’s Anniversary!

It’s been a year already and there is so much of memories that we still speak of and refer to some things and practices that we were used to being part of this corporal of business activity – and that is spoke and referred to is only half of what we have experienced here!!

Hmmm…..Nobody thought last year would be of so much problem for the employees of Satyam Computer Services !!!

There was uncertainty, losses, cries, misbeliefs, hatred, uncertainty, cries of foul, cries of worry and what not …You name a ‘Negative Emotion’ and there you could use it to describe the situation…!

Amidst all these there were people who wanted to stay and fight back, some moved on, some stood to see and watch what can be done…in all these episodes – there is one universal truth that showed was – the ‘Love for the Company’!

This was the day last year, when an employee who returned to work on the same friendly campus became hostile….!

There was mails flying up and down and people enquiring about your next course of events and it was a big chaos out there in the morning of Business Hour…Even the chaos in the ‘Sensex Market’ would have been just like the cry in the ‘Fish Market’ but the ‘Offices of Satyam Computers’ – out surged as Winner… amongst them!

There was one question in most of the employees who had their share of Golden Life in the company – “Why, did the Chairman had to do thus? – What could have been the reason?”

And a thousand suggestions to substantiate that one man’s decision….!

It was a day of most unexpected and unpredicted outcomes…most unforgettable day in the history of an Working Middle Class Human Being …..!

This day did not only tell us all the truth of life that – Nothing is certain in life, but also taught us to make our lives simple and uncomplicated…!

I am not sure about others but for me – it certainly did and that is one day I knew…Whatever plans you make with the things on your hand, isn’t there in your hand at all.

I started my tenure with this company exactly 34 months back and was about to complete my third anniversary with this company, coming March…but I was devastated with the news and was wondering what more is in store…!

I had moved on from there, but still remember this company with the same vigor and likeness…this place was like home and would have stayed with it…for the uncertainty that it unfolded.

I walked on…with life not to see what I could gather more…but I walked on without hope and faith, that I held so many days…!

I walked further on to turn back and see that – the place dear to me like so many others along with does not remain today!!

I could not stand and watch the faith – die a slow death that wasn’t there with me anymore….!

I am here today, but will never forget that I was there too…!

The company has regained the faith it lost and has worked on with blasphemy…Wish, someday I see the name and I can say – I was part of that, someday…before I walked on faithless!! :)

I salute to the name that stood high as long as it did last!!
