When a Blogger meets a Fellow Blogger!!! (Part-2)

OK, so where we (not you and I) were this is; he and me!!! So, we were at the coffee day point when we ordered for a coffee.

Now, this attendee acts very smart either by looking at me blinking wide eyes and open mouth either thought I am first timer to the IT background or to the Coffee day coffee, and tries to act smart and prove that he is smart donkey (wanted to A**, but being a modest girl, don’t want to do that, so sticking with this) than me.

My friend here (Alas! I could say otherwise) asks me what do you want? I just look at him and give my best smile possible. He asks me again, this time my brain is awake it Says, Coffee, Coffee (Twice) which is unnecessary!!! He heard me the first time itself.

The smart donkey has a lineup of questions for me, on a ordinary day I would have given him back showing my smartness or whatever it was to him, but I patiently be extremely modest.
He asks me, what coffee? I say, COFFEE (a bit louder), he isn’t bothered about it. He asks me the same question again; I wonder what is wrong with him, on other days if we ask him for coffee he silently makes it.

Oh! He is testing my memory and the wonderful astonishing brain of mine works (Hurray!)

Now, it’s my turn, I tell ‘One Cappuccino, Plz’, as if we were in Italy and he recognizes coffee only by that name. He says, wait my lady I have more questions for you, won’t let you go that easily, I know he did not have customers, but he should not have ragged me at that point of time…Oh, gosh seeing me react, my friend would certainly have thought, something wrong with lady.

The attendee asks, me ‘Large or Small’, for a second I really wonder what is he referring to me, I told you my brain does not work completely under pressure…!!!

After a gap unbelievable I answer, small or normal whatever, by this time the coffee is already offered to me…

He gives me an extra packet of sugar; I take less sugar in coffee as I like it little bitter. My friend has already taken the sugar packet in his hand and he offers it to me, I can’t no to this!!?? Or can I??!!!

My friend (I will refer him as this only!!!) says, take this he might have put the exact sugar you need. I was tempted to say “I am sweet so I don’t need extra sweet!!!”[But, I am modest and have a DEGREE of MARRIAGE]

Then, we look for a place, now, tell me in crowded cafeteria you can look for a secluded place but when the cafeteria that is almost empty why you need to search for a place, WE DID!!! :D
And almost settled down on a table and chair, it was the last but one table in that row, neither the table was so visible nor the table in a hidden corner. We sat on two corners that if one of us shifted either right or forward we could form a perpendicular, and we sat and then we started talking…..

When a Blogger meets a Fellow Blogger!!!

I happened to meet a fellow blogger on the pretext of showing each other our faces for we have for some time talking to each other on our official blog and the communicator with lets us communicate even sitting close by or further away a few blocks.

So, we plan to meet each other. We set up a time and everything is set.

I am married and the blog or the communicator does not give away my status and it so happens that some mistake me for a single being and when I tell them that I am married, I can hear the sigh of disappointment or relief [not sure what it is] though not literally but still can hear it through the network cables.

Now, don’t ask me how, come on being in a world of ‘Men and Women’ and having worked in IT companies for about 6 years, I certainly know how people react to your faceless communications and the after effects of your initial introductions and to the extend the questions that are sharp and to the point like the great warrior Arjuna who could bore the eyes on a fish from the bottom of a lake just looking at the impression of the fish on the water. [Now, that’s a comparison, isn’t’ it]

We meet at the appointed hour 4.00pm, me go there on the pretext that I felt like having some ice-cream. So, we meet.

The office cafeteria is the place of meet or venue of the happening. I am an average lady with some good looks and an astonishing brain under my skull that works only at times and refuses to perform even under pressure.

We haven’t met each other and don’t know how the other person looks till we set our eyes on each other. For the first look, it is like thank god, there aren’t bad features or some extra ordinary growth on the external appearance.

So, the first step is crossed, now comes the next thing, which is as crucial as the looks and appearance is the way you respond or talk.

My bad luck the ice creams weren’t there and had to settle for a coffee, which is actually unnecessary at that point of time, but thanks to the Vending Machines in the office campuses have put us on such a habit that we can’t neglect the thought of going to the Vending Machine, in between a meeting!!!!

So, my friend has already had his share of coffee at our own vending machine and I am left with to take the coffee at the coffee day point as we cannot sit there look into each other eyes and talk all nonsense, as there are restrictions here, I am married and he is unmarried. Oh! God what a tragedy!!!

Where were all these men and options, when I was Single!!! Well, let’s leave the tragedy and continue further…

I try to offer his everything in the cafeteria except the chairs and tables and leaving the human sector, though being a time of dusk, the cafeteria was empty, I Know, somehow the news got leaked that I was on a secret mission [Love to say, ‘DATE’, but you know, I am Married] and a Shaadi-Shudha women should not go on dates, but she is eligible to eat the Kabul Dates, it is good!!![Haven't tasted, go ahead taste it. You will like it ;-)].

He just says no to everything and anything, ‘Even Sharing a Coffee with Me’!!! Oh my, what am I to do.

P.S: The time is up for me to continue this post….will tell you tomorrow what happened to my so called date not so date!!!

A Medical Romance

Prologue

It was the season of spring. The city was blooming, harnessing the colors of life and nature, the birds were happy chirping, the newly-weds were joyous, the newborn were invited, there was pomp and prosperity everywhere.

Kavya, was jubilant and enjoying her newly gained freedom. She was almost all alone, in the city with no one to control her movements, give her statements of proper ordnance and always keep a watch over her.

She has joined the prestigious and one of the oldest professional courses of the world, ‘Bachelor of Medicine’. She is away from her small hometown, in a bigger city, with all amenities at the street corner, plush departmental stores, the big stores, the big shopping complexes, the boys and girls, all were new to her and she loved the city.

She is staying in the hostel and this newly enjoyed freedom of hers will be with her for the coming 4 plus 1 year of studies and there is a long way to go. Starting this Monday, she will be embarking on a new journey, a new leaf in her twig, a new bud in the node, she is going to be a Human Doctor, in years and she will be above a normal human being and has to acquire all the traits that help her in this process.

Who, knows what is in store for her in this small life of hers…..have to wait and see, today is Saturday, another day to go by.

Krish or Krishnan, as he is called, is a guy who has the geographical map of the city and never fails any street, whenever a dear one is lost in the city. He is like a walking encyclopedia of the city, comes handy in directors to the unknown corners of the city.

A rich dad and mom had given him all that he wanted. The freedom given to him, was well used and always brought him more and he enjoyed it, in spite of his friends feeling the sting of jealousy. He did not ask for or less, it was always there in enough quantity. He handled the amount of cash given to him as an apt business man and loved every moment of his.

He has a number of friends of both the genders and they all loved him for the liberty he gave them all in his company. They were all happy to be his friend but heart-of-hearts longed to be like him. There were around him and always gave him company but he looked for that one quality in someone that can give him the missing comforts of friendship and relations. It did not, happen.

His long standing desire to capture the nuances of human life, and be an able doctor to control the body along with the mind has been his passion. Interested in the science of medicines, he focused on doing nothing but getting into the prestigious college of medical sciences in the city. It is Saturday and he is expecting a lot from his Monday classes, new friends, new life, new study, new girls, and so on. Girls, yes he is excited about them, now, in a different way, he is dreaming of faceless girls, WOW, what fun it is.

Who, knows what is in store for him in this big life of his…..have to wait and see, today is Saturday, another day to go by.

I have created this piece of fiction on Sun 31-Aug-2008 and so far I have written 16 chapters with me and still writing it, a replica of it lies at my official blog too.

Engengo Sellum Yen Yennangal.....

Today, morning I was listening to songs on my way to office. It has now become a kind of ritual in the mornings and evenings, as I have to travel a distance of one and half hour journey to office everyday and back home. Left with no other options, can't read a good book, thanks to the Roller Coaster Ride, I get every day in and out, and just chilling out listening to music on my iPod is the best among the options on hand.

My eyes had started to close and my brain refused to be active, the music in my ears was singing a lullaby to me.

I was almost on the hill tops with cool breeze, the clouds touching my forehead, the drizzle chilling my spines, and then suddenly music so serene and charming hit the ear drums of mine that my brain woke up with a start and said, “Hey, wake up you can't afford to miss the SONG”.

Reluctantly, I tried to wake up but the music bore into me and made an instant start ahead of me.

I was swaying and foot tapping to the music. The song is so catchy, that I almost sang aloud with my ears still plugged with the ear phones, I know people in the bus would have thought something's wrong with this dame. But, you know people were busy with their dreams that they did not bother much to this small insignificant happening. Thanks to the drive and the dreams. Phew! What an escape..!

I just could not wonder in haze the 'Miracle of Music' that hits you like a bolt and then melts away without any notice. But you linger with the thoughts of it throughout the day and it even makes you smile unknowingly and the people who pass-by you think you are rather smiling at them. Whereas, hardly you would remember the face, anyways, I just loved this song and its music.

By the way, it is a Tamil song and I thoroughly enjoyed the lyrics and the music.

The after effects of it are very evident still...He...He...He...!!!I have posted the lyrics of the song here...Ensoi.

Engengo Sellum En Ennangal Ingae Dhaan Kandaen Pon Vannangal
En Vaazhkkai Vaanil Nilaavae...Nilaavae

Those who can't understand the words, it is a love duet. The singers and the actors are trying to tell each other how much they love each other through this song...Just few lines of translation, folks-

"The guy says, he had been a stone man all these days, but on seeing and thinking about her, his mind has bloomed into a flower, bringing in all its qualities. So, since then he is thinking, You, Me and Us......"
